So, I got my shot at getting one of the palettes I’ve always wanted. I blogged about this not to long ago about how Urban Decay “found” some books hanging around the warehouse and wanted them gone so hurry! OK so I was going to post that Urban Decay sent out emails to all of their subscribers letting them know that they “found” some left over Book of Shadows Vol. II eyeshadow palettes to hurry and buy, but when I went to post the info on here (yesterday) – THEY WERE ALL SOLD OUT! It sold out really fast.
@UrbanDecay411 tweeted about it about 5 minutes after I tweeted that I had received an email about it. The funny part about this whole thing is that nobody was tweeting or talking about this offer anywhere *crickets sound*…I thought that was odd. I didn’t check Facebook because I don’t like FB so I don’t know if there was talk there or not. Twitter was dead! Maybe everybody I follow already owns it???
I got the email as soon as it came into my Inbox (a little after 10:30 am est.) and I hopped right on it because it is a discontinued / limited edition product that was on my wantages list and I was hoping, someday, UD would bring it back. I am so happy to be getting it! Now, if only they could find a few from Vol. 1 and then I’ll have all of the BOS in my collection. I love Urban Decay.

The Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 3 NYC Event
…was a personal success for me. I scored an Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 3 t-shirt and I am very happy about that (my reason for arriving in line at 8:15am).
I arrived in Times Square at 8:15am on August 25, 20010 to get my hands on that Book of Shadows and t-shirt and found a little later that I was #8 in line! How cool is that? I waited – stood in that line the entire time from 8:15 to 1pm. I sipped from my bottle of water here and there throughout the time I was in line. My man brought me a breakfast burrito from McDonald’s to snack on and a Drake’s cake…what? I was hungry and I had no choice, but to eat it. Ha! I made up for it later, by eating all good foods so my diet wasn’t a total fail that day.
