How To Depot and Store L’Oreal HiP Duo Eyeshadows

I know everybody has one of these, but I wanted one for my blog so here goes.  Here is my HOW TO DEPOT L’OREAL HIP DUO EYESHADOWS AND HOW TO STORE THEM IN AN EYESHADOW PAN PALETTE.  This tutorial are for those who don’t like dealing with or storing single eyeshadow pots because 1. they take up a lot of stash space, 2. it’s hard to locate the colors you are looking for, 3. you forget about the colors you “lose” them for a time, etc.

*Materials needed for this project…your Japonesque 12 pan palette size large, your L’Oreal HiP duo pots, a heating tool, a sharp object (not a knife please) a napkin (to catch the eyeshadow pans), time and patience.

1.  You have to get a palette and the one found that works well after researching is this Japonesque 12 pan eyeshadow palette in size large.  I got my palette from Aveyou.com via Amazon.com and yes, this palette is great to store L’Oreal HiP Duo eyeshadows in.  I paid $14.00 for the palette plus a $5.00 UPS flat shipping rate so my total came to $19.00 which is cool.

Side note re: A seller’s review.  After I ordered the palette, my shipping notice came in as USPS.  I quickly sent email to Aveyou.com letting them know that I paid for UPS shipping and that my place of employment (which is where I have my packages delivered to) does not accept USPS packages.  They quickly fixed the mishap and a few hours later I had gotten an email containing my UPS tracking nuber.  Great customer service!

How I Store My Wigs & Ponytails

Somebody sent me a question asking me how do I store my wigs.  I don’t have a great solution for storing my wigs and it may even be sad as to how I store my wigs (ha!), but this is the way I store them.   You have all seen these hanger clip plastic storage thingies, right?.

My mom had a few of these in the 80′s when we were kids that we tore up a lot and now I have three of cheaper quality, but I only  use it to hang up my wigs because I don’t have enough room to keep wig heads (I have two heads and like 8 or 9 wigs/ponytails) and I don’t want to keep the boxes they came in because they take up too much space and when I want to rock a particular wig I don’t want to have to go on a hunt to locate it.  So I hang each of my wigs (two clips) and ponytails (one clip)  alike, in a wig nets and voila!  Stored!  Saves me the  space, torture of having to store them another way, find them and nobody bumps into them AND the baby can’t reach them.  LOL!

I bought three of these in Chinatown (I can’t even find these in the dollar stores at all)  for like 2 bucks each and I hang them in my closet.

*shrugz*

If anybody knows of a better way as to how to store wigs outside of bag, box or wig head please let me know.

Betseyville Cosmetics Travel Bag via TJ Maxx

I was able to get my first Betsey Johnson anything and it is a Betseyville cosmetics travel bag.  It’s all sequins if you can’t see it in the picture…the entire bag is sequins and is totally me – flashy.  Ha!  Loved it when I laid eyes on it so I had to get it.  Retail price was about $40. and I got it for $12.99 at TJ Maxx.   Plaids are in and if they weren’t I wouldn’t care anyway, but I had to say that they are in.  The zipper is gold.  The bag is not small, it’s the size of any medium sized cosmetics bag and is roomy inside.  This baby will be with me on our next romantic vacation to Vegas next year.  I loves it a lot…
