Sneak Peak & Shop For Sephora “Very Important Beauty Insiders” (VIB)
So, I think the email came in this morning when I was snoring so I missed out on all of the polishes which is sold out right now and it’s only a little after 10:30am est. time. I looked through all of the stuff they had up and I was going to get that lip gloss in Charmmy because it looks as though it is the best nude color in the bunch, but it’s sold out of course. I snoozed so I obviously lost, but that’s OK because succeeded in getting my Urban Decay Book of Shadows II!!! Holla!!! Anyway, I’m going to wait and see when the makeup and brushes in person before I buy them because I hate doing returns. Sephora needs to put out a date as to when this is going to happen, but I can wait…no big deal.
Here is the private event email I received this morning. Limited quantities of each product is being sold only to VIB members. VIB members are those of us who do damage at Sephora and offers like these ones are one of the perks. Take care!
Hello Kitty Beauty is coming to Sephora!
It’s a coming to Sephora (some time soon I hope) and I am sooooooo happy about this. I cannot wait to see it! How exciting is this? I wasn’t into MAC back when they launched their limited edition Hello Kitty collection so I totally missed out on the good stuff. To all of my Hello Kitty sistas and brovas … HOLLA!

God Bless Sephora!
FYI! I am so happy to have received this email a couple or three hours ago for the Sephora VIB in-store or online 20% off sale for their VIB (Very Important Beauty Insider aka people who spend way too much money shopping at Sephora) that will start on November 11, 2010 and will end on November 15, 2010. The reason why I am so happy is because I missed the Sephora Friends and Family 20% off sale this past week because I needed to keep funds available for our family vacation to Walt Disney World (my favorite place on this planet) and you know how expensive that place is. So yeah, no shopping for me there or at MAC for Tartan Tale (still hoping I can get my hands on Courting Lilac lipstick but that’s another blog post in itself – everything I want always sells out on the MAC site – great minds!).
I have a list that I made over a week ago for the Friends and Family sale, but have crossed a lot of stuff out. I’ll be looking for a good eye cream that helps with lightening dark circles, a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick or eyeshadow palette or maybe even a brush, stock up on Sephora antibacterial brush cleaner (Andrea’s Choice on Youtube mentioned it in her skincare tips video recently) and ummmm maybe that Urban Decay lipstick in Naked I’ve been wanting for a while. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Anyway, I am happy that I get another opportunity to take advantage. VIB get a special discount code in their emails. Along with that 20% off discount I will get free shipping with my order of $50 dollars and over (which is standard practice for Sephora.com which is always nice).
The email also mentions that there will be an in-store event that their calling “Kick-Off Party” which will pop off on November 11, 2010 between 6-9pm and if I attend I can give one of my friends 20% off their purchase too, VIB attendees will also get a free Sephora tote (I love free stuff), an expert makeover session (I always pass, but it’s a nice gesture), I’ll be entered into a VIB sweepstakes to win Sephora stuff and sample Godiva chocolates ya’ll…they know how to get me into the building. Sadly, I will not be able to attend as I get paid the day after – Grrrrrrrrrrrr. This event is all geared toward kicking off the holiday season.
I am OK with the fact that I won’t be able to attend because I get another chance at that 20% off! Woo Woo! Thank you Sephora! I’m so excited! God is good!
