Zoya BOGO Sale Haul (Part 1)
I took advantage of Zoya’s offer that said that if you buy one polish ($8) from any of the new summer collections then you’d get the second one free so I bought polishes in all I think…I will have to break this haul up into three parts because there are three summer collections. Beautiful colors. I didn’t order all of the polishes because the ones I bought are the only ones I liked.
Here is my haul of five polishes and swatches from the Zoya Summertime collection…
Back Row (left to right): Areej, Sooki, Keko
Front Row (left to right): Breezi, Mira

Areej…

Sooki (I got this one because of the name ha! I have so many red nail polishes already)…
Keko…
Breezi (my favorite out of the bunch)…
Mira…
Where did I buy these products? Zoya.com
Sonia Kashuk “Lend A Hand” Nail Polish Trio
I am so late with this, but I did buy the Lend A Hand nail polish trio by Sonia Kashuk from Target a couple of months back. I love this trio and the quality of the polishes are awesome. I love these three colors so much! In the picture below of the polish on my nails, I’ve worn them for an active two days and I only see polishes disappearing from the tip edges, no chipping yet. I use Seche base and top coats…fyi.
The purchase of the nail polishes and everything else in the collection which includes makeup tools, eye shadows and brushes all benefit Breast Cancer research.
If you can still get your hands on some of these items (I believe you can I’ve seen them, still, recently) then pick up something for a good cause. Sonia Kashuk makeup and tool are not garbage so you will love what you pick up and it will be useful to you.
These items are limited edition so once they are gone they are gone…and and and if I had to give advice as to what to get from this collection, I’d say the nail polishes hands down.
Price: $9.99 for all
“Orly Glaxy Girl”: The Dupe for MAC Formidable!
Beautiful and yes, both Galaxy Girl and Formidable! are identical…
I was not able to get MAC Formidable! from Bloomingdale’s because they were all sold out when they went to do my second order. Not good. I would have been majorly pissed if they didn’t send me MAC Bad Fairy, which there is no dupe for, but I did receive it already (and blogged about a week ago). Whew! All in all I was able to save a few dollars by not getting the MAC one, but it’s the one I really wanted. I am a brat sometimes, but not this time. I am happy with my purchase. Oh and my favorite out of the three Maleficent collection polishes is Formidable! and if I find it some where I will buy it because I’m a straight up MAC head.
MAC Venomous Villains Bad Fairy Nail Polish (Maleficent)
I almost lost my mind when I opened up my package from Bloomingdales and only saw that I received ONE nail polish. The good thing, though, is that nail polish was the highly sought after and popular BAD FAIRY. Had it been FORMIDABLE! I would have gotten really upset. I ordered only two polishes from the Venomous Villains collection and they were Bad Fairy and Formidable. I didn’t order Mean and Green because I wasn’t feeling the swatches I saw from other bloggers and makeup enthusiasts. Instead of flipping out I grabbed my receipt and called customer service to find out that my order was split – which calmed me down. Yay!
I had originally put these all three polishes on hold at Bloomingdales, but when I went to pick up my order they were not in it. The MA had to put an online order in for me and it’s why I’m getting them in the mail. So far, again, I’ve gotten BAD FAIRY. Whew! And after the 8th I should be receiving Formidable!. I’m guessing that they had to ship separate because they were in different locations…these nail polishes flew off the shelves and from online quick. I’m happy to be getting them at all.
Today, I went to MAC to do a Back 2 MAC and the girl sasid, “Ooooh is that our polish?” And I said, “Yes indeedy, it’s Bad Fairy.” And she said, “Awww man! It’s so pretty! I wish I had gotten it, but it’s all sold out everywhere.” And she’s correct! Anyway, here is my Bad Fairy and a swatch…I wasn’t able to catch the duo chrome thing in the pictures because my cam sucks. This nail polish is has a pumpkin orange in it, a Fall leaves red and some gold in it…reminds me of Fall leaves in color when I move my hands certain ways. It’s gorgeous! I had to put two coats to on to make it opaque and I topped it off with a top coat because the formula is not all that smooth. The polish has glitter in it, but it’s not over glittery or chunky. Price: $13.00
