My L’Oreal Paris At Discount Haul
Thank you Target!
Total Target haul from last Friday night, but I’m only going to be talking about my L’Oreal stuffs in this post…
ALERT! I did not get that Stereo Rose Mineralized Skinfinish from MAC on the right from Target. LOL! I received that in the mail on the same day I did this haul so I was kind of on a happy spree so I threw it into this haul. To make a long story short, I am happy that MAC honored my online order the day Stereo Rose came out, but I am still teed I had to wait over two weeks to get it. So I have a backup now…I guess it was meant to be.
NOTE! I’ll talk about the bath stuff (in the pic above) in a future post because I want to do a review on it. Nail polishes will be in another post as well.
As usual, every time I go to Target I go to the clearance shelves first and this time I got my hands on some L’Oreal products at discount. It’s been a very long time since Target had some good stuff for discount. I was happy I was able to pick up a couple of lipsticks, some lipglosses and some HIP duos (yay!!!!). I was able to get my hands on a Voluminous mascara – my first. Note: If none of these items were on clearance I would have never bought them. I always look at L’Oreal products, but I always tell myself it’s too expensive for drugstore makeup so I never buy them plus you can’t test them out until you get home. So to avoid the hassle, I just avoid drugstore makeup except for mascaras altogether.
I’m going to start off with my L’Oreal HiP duos and I’m going to tell you all that I LOVE THEM!!!! All of my duos are gorgeous, pigmented and are easy to work with. I am so glad I lucked up and got these on sale. I paid between $3.47-$4.47 for each duo. I’m not going tell you all (yes I am) how I’ve ditched my MAC eyeshadows for these duos and my 88 palette eyeshaows in the past couple of weeks. I think I have lost my mind. I’m sure things will go back to normal once I get my MAC Dare To Wear Collection eyeshadows in the mail in a few days. Woot!
Swatches on top of NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk!
I picked up some L’Oreal lip products, as mentioned previously, from the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche line. I got two lipsticks. The first one is Mulberry #710 and it’s a dark corally red. Gorgeous! And the second one is Mica #620 it’s an iridescent, sheer lilac purple color…hard to explain, but it’s gorgeous. Both lipsticks go on so smooth and are a dream to wear. Feels great on.
Packaging…
I also picked up some L’Oreal Lipglosses as well from the Infallible line. Love these glosses A LOT! I bought two colors and a back up of one of them. The top two are the same and it’s called Undeniable Mauve #515 and it’s definitely a true mauve color with some red undertones in it. The bottom one is called Raisin #715 and it’s a purple burgandy brown color with a lot of fine shimmer in it. Love! Undeniable Mauve looks hot over Mulberry. Hot!
Swatches!
Last, but not least, I finally got my hands on (I didn’t want to pay full price for it) on a L’Oreal Full Definition Voluminous Volume Building Mascara in Black Brown. It was the only color on clearance so I picked it up anyway. This is something I can wear to work since all of my mascaras are in black. This is the mascara a lot of people rave about all over the beauty communities, right? I hope this is the one. I am not going to open it no time soon because I have other mascaras to finish and unopened ones to test out first. Sucks! I hope I like this one…
That’s all folks!
A Very Insignificant Beauty Haul
One thing you should never do is go on a shopping spree when everything is shit cheap. Why? Because usually the products involved are shit, but I did score with a couple or three goodies. The rest sucked. Here is what I got from a beauty supply store at Columbus Market here in Jersey a week ago. They are like a .99 cent store where they buy old stuff big chains couldn’t sell. Anyway, here is the lot.

Everything ranged between $2.99 – 3.99 so yep everything was cheap. What I liked from this lot is the pair of hair cutting scissors, that Revlon concealer brush (but too long in my opinion) which is good for clean up around my eye area, the Revlon tweezers are amazing, the CoverGirl brow pencils are great, I like that Victoria Secret (VS) matte light gray shadow I picked up and I that L’Oreal cream eyeshadow in Steely is growing on me. I picked up a small Noir fragrance stick from VS which is handy to have when I’m out and about.
Here is what I didn’t like. I don’t like that CoverGirl Queen Powder foundation at all. It sucks…not my shade and it goes on like baby powder, but thicker. Me no likey!

Oh and I can’t forget about my pencil sharpener which cost me a dollar and it does what it’s supposed to do. That’s it for my cheap ass backwoods haul!
A Beauty Supply Haul
I love beauty supply stores so when I saw one while walking around with my hubby and daughter at Columbus Farmers Market yesterday I had to go in. It is a wholesale store call J&M so everything in there was priced cheap. My total order came to $20. so that was good.
J&M had lots and lots of CoverGirl, Maybelline, Victoria Secret, Jordana, L’Oreal, Avon, The Body Shop, Physician’s Formula and Revlon makeup (there were more brands, but I can’t think of any more right now). They also had lots of makeup brushes and other tools. They had nail polishes of a brand I never heard of and I cannot remember the name.
Earlier in the day I had watched GregoryGorgeous’ new Youtube video re: Skincare and he mentioned St. Ives (but he switched over to Cetaphil) but I grabbed a couple of products anyway because my breakouts are still going on since I switched over from Neutrogena to Clean & Clear. So yeah, I grabbed St. Ives Elements Olive Scrub (which I tried out already and it left my skin so soft and feeling clean $2.99) and St. Ives Swiss Formula Firming Mask (that I also tried out today and it left my skin amazingly soft – $2.99).
I also grabbed a bottle of Johnson’s Extra Conditioning Baby Shampoo for my brushes ($1.99), a random bottle of top coat for my nails because I needed one ($1.00), L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Liquid Liner in Carbon Black ($1.99), Secret Deodorant ($2.00) and two Maybelline Unstoppable liners in Espresso and in Onyx. Hubby picked up some Colgate toothbruhes and something else…I can’t remember. Here is my beauty supply haul pic.
