My New Konad Stamping Nail Art Set
I was very excited to see that Konad Stamping Nail Art products were up for sale at my local mall so I jumped on it. I learned about Konad from reading beauty blogs and the fact that I love nail polish helped me make my purchase. I had always been curious about nail art with a stamping tool, but I didn’t know anyone who used them and when I asked a blogger who uses it all the time to do a post about it on her blog she said should would soon, but that was months ago. I’ve been to the Konad website a few times and looked at everything, but I didn’t know what I needed and I didn’t know how to stamp and I was afraid to buy something of this magnitude to end up disappointed. I watched some Youtube videos where people did some how to tutorials using the stamp, but everybody does their own things their own way.
So, I get up to the booth and the saleperson starts going on with her pitch. She showed me how to stamp, clean up and how to use the tools all in like 60 seconds. I’m sure I over paid for the set I have and gotten nothing for free or half price, but I’ll tell you guys what she did for me anyway…
My set came with four templates originally, but she threw an additional one in for free. I was able to choose the plates I wanted which was nice so I ditched a few from the set that was completed and swapped them out for the templates I was interested in. I got a fourth nail polish (I chose the base/top coat) for $6.00 which she says goes for $10.00, but on the Konad site the special Konad nail polishes goes for $6.50 each. She also threw in a Nail Protector pen with the tips for free. And I bought the Image Plate Holder outright for $6.00. The scraper comes with the set inside of the template box. I opted for this size set because I am knew to nail art period and if I want more products I can just go back and get more than to buy a large set and not like it or use it.
Grand total came out to $75.00 including tax which I would have never have paid if I had to order it online. I know that they have to pay the mall rent each month so the price hikes don’t bother me at all. The good thing is that I know my Konad rep personally (her name is on the card below if you are in my area).
