My One & Only Inglot 10-Pan Freedom Palette
This post is going to be so pointless because I don’t have the eyeshadow color numbers to tell you guys or swatches to show you guys. Anyway, I wanted to share with you my one and only palette. I think the palette is beautiful, but I hardly ever use it. I don’t use it because I don’t have a matte brown, a blending color or a highlight color in it. If I had those in it I could just throw it in my bag and take it work. I like when a palette has everything in it I can do an instant look in it because I do my makeup at work.
It’s totally my fault my palette is messed up, but I decided I’d go back and get another 10 pan palette fill it up and do some switcha roos between the two so that I can have completed palettes. I also have to get a heavy duty magnet because I damaged a couple of my shadows trying to take them out with a pin.
I bought this palette from the Inglot store at my 2nd favorite mall which is Garden State Plaza, here, in Jersey last Winter. My makeup artist was very nice and she took her time with me which was great. I can’t say the same for the other girls who were there…they ignored me. But Inglot has that type of reputation in a few of their stores around the country so I’ve heard. I also hear that they are working on the customer service…I hope so.
I paid 50 bucks + tax for the palette and the eyeshadows which is a great deal. I like the magnetized cover and the fact that the eyeshadows could never all out on their own and break. What I don’t like about the eyeshadow pans is that once you put them in and you don’t have a magnet it’s a hassle to get the shadows out to get the numbers of the colors so writing them down before hand is a must. I don’t like that the cover is glass because I have yet to break it. I drop everything. The store puts the eyeshadow pans in the palette for you so if you don’t want them to do that tell them before they go to round up your stuff. The palette is very heavy. It seems heavier than my Urban Decay Book of Shadows (all of them). Overall, I love that all of Inglot’s shadows are pigmented (all of them) so you will not miss with whatever colors you choose.
Here is my beautiful Inglot palette…
