Spent Halloween at Disney World
Yes, I am back! I spent an entire week at Walt Disney World (my favorite place in the World) in Orlando, Florida and I had a blast! I attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom on Halloween and had a super time. The weather was great and it did not rain on that day. We also conquered Animal Kingdom, boozed and ate around the World Showcase at Epcot, did a little at Hollywood Studios and went back to Magic Kingdom again to find my Princess Tiana – and I did!
Also, in the spirit of the MAC Venomous Villains collection that launched a couple of months back, I wanted to show you guys pictures of me with two of four of my favorite Disney Villains…here is Maleficent and I and then Dr. Facilier aka Shadow Man and I at Villains Mix & Mingle…PURE LOVE!!!!! My other two favorites is Yzma and Scar.
And yes, I know I was hella sweating so forgive me for the sweaty pit party going on. I had to run from Walt and Mickey’s statue at the hub over into the greet and meet line and with a huge crowd around it wasn’t easy getting there. Had I known, at the time – I was super excited to pose with them – I was sweating like that I wouldn’t have posed that way. Grrrrrrrr. I have to get this picture fixed and I will.
EOTD, FOTD, OOTD: I wore my Minnie Ears all week – the ears have sequins on them – Divalicious! I was going for a dark, vampy look with purple because it’s my bestie’s, Maleficent, favorite color and I wanted to impress. I wore all MAC shadows (can’t remember what I used) and Violetta lipstick with Wicked Ways lipglass on top. MAC Pro Longwear foundation and concealer…Bite of An Apple blush and NARS Daphne eyeshadow (I needed the darky blue purple for this vampy look), highlighted with Perfect Topping MSF, contoured with MAC Blunt blush, Stila Kajal liner in Onyx…that’s all I can remember for now. I also rocked my diamonds and my Disney Jack O Latern Naughty tshirt. On my nails, Orly Galaxy Girl.
EOTD: Greens from the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. III
I decided to go with green today and I don’t know why. I think I just wanted to use the Book of Shadows Vol. III since I had not touched it yet. It was a rainy and gloomy day today so I went dark with my look. I’m also rocking the ever so sweet MAC Kittenish lipstick from the Fabulous Felines collection that just came out recently for the first time and I must say that I love it. The lipstick goes on nice and it just looks really nice on.
Notes: I had a bit of fall out with the “Uzi” eyeshadow in tear duct and inner lower lash line – bleh. And the synthetic lace front wig I’m wearing is made by Model Model and the name of the wig is Candace (bought from Lhboutique.com
A Colorful Look I Wanted to Try Out from YouTube
I forget what it was called because I got it from eyeXluvXmakeup (on Youtbue – who I subscribe to) who got her version inspiration from JulieG (who is also on Youtube – who I am NOT subscribed to so I didn’t see the original version). I like to do some very colorful, sometimes unwearable looks and dark, vampy looks on the weekends and when I go out so of course I decided to go for it.
I wanted to try it out on my eyes because I have “chinky” eyes and less lid space to work with so that those with the chink factor can see that although it doesn’t look like the original looks that inspired me, that it does in fact work for us. When I open my eyes the only part of eyeshadow that shows is my brow bone highlight and a little of my upper lid which sucks, but this is the eye shape that God has given to me so I have no choice but to work with them. When I look down and over that’s when you can see my look perfectly, but who looks down to the side all day? LOL.
I subscribe to mostly Asian beauty gurus who do eyeshadow tutorials because most of them share my eye shape. Normally, I don’t copy looks from others to post on my blog, but I really like my version of the look so I decided to post it.
Some EOTD Eye of the Day Looks I’ve Done Recently
Here are three random eye looks I did in the past three weeks that I actually took pictures of. I do not remember all that I used to create these looks, but I’ll post them anyway and will tell what I think I used.
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with false eye lashes and it’s not going so well. I decided to practice putting them on with no eye makeup, just a liner until I get the hang of it because I love love false eye lashes.
Anyway, here are my looks…
I saw a bird at a pet shop and it inspired me to create this summery look and it gave me a reason to use that tealy colored 24/7 liner I got in my Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Book of Shadows (I forget the name)…

In this look I used all of the pigments in the Cool Capers pigment set from the MAC Mischief Makers collection except for Deep Blue Green. I really like this look and will definitely create it again (got a lot of compliments that day when I wore it)…

And these last two are pics of the same look (can’t remember what eyeshadows I used) and it is a neutral pinky brown one where I used a brown eye liner (MAC Costa Riche I believe) and Stila Kajal liner in Topaz on my waterline. That mascara is MAC Zoom Lash…love it. It really thickens and pulls out my lashes…a little clunky…but I can deal with that.

And that’s all for now. I hope you guys like these.
