Late Posting this CCO Haul
I think I got this haul about six weeks ago! I was very sick and even in the hospital so I haven’t been able to post to any of my blogs. I am feeling quite better and I return to work on Monday. I didn’t feel as excited about going to the CCO, but of course I found stuff to buy anyway. Here is my haul in a bunch.

I picked up a bottle of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I’ve been wanting the gel for a minute now and I’m glad I was able to get it. I think I paid about $21 for 4.2 fl. oz. ?? I can’t remember, but it was around that. I have the lotion kind and I really like the gel one better. All you need is about 1 or 2 pumps for your entire face. When I feel my face is very dry I use two pumps.

OK and for the goodies, the MAC stuff:

Although I have not really played around with my two new quads yet, I’m SO glad I didn’t bend to the pressure and buy these at full price when they came out. The green quad (Photo Realism), when I swatch them out, the color pay off is low – wasn’t happy with that, but I haven’t done a look with it yet so I may just love it, but I doubt it. The neutral quad (Notoreity) is OK and when I compare it with all of my MAC neutral eyeshadows and I just find that Notoriety’s neutrals are shimmery and I can work with that. The color pay off is also low-medium and I’m OK with the quad, I just don’t love it. Whatever quads the CCO has I just buy them by habit and plus I love having quads available to me when I running late for work.

The one palette I was so excited to see at the CCO was Smoke and Mirrors. Love love love love! I can see myself just taking this palette with me on vacation and using it for day and night looks. No need to take anything else unless I want some color and in that case I will just pop in four colors into my empty quad. Some people were saying they can just go to their Fascinating quad, but I think the two are very different…there are silvers in the Fascinating. Smoke and Mirrors has all neutrals. Some shimmery, some matte and stain.

I was also happy to get a Mineralized Skinfish Trio in Smooth Merge because I wanted it when it came out in the Colour Craft collection. I really like this MSF. I use it for highlight and overall as a blush. I don’t think the shimmer is too much in this MSF. I love it!

Fever blush is a matte and I love love love it. I have been eyeing this blush at the CCO since three trips ago and I finally bought it. I think it’s the only red based blush I’ll wear. It is beautiful! And not too much for me. Love!

And then I picked up three eyeshadows. Can’t leave a CCO without any eyeshadows so I picked up MAC’s Pagan (a hot green color) in the McQueen packaging (RIP Alex), Clarity (a hot blue color) and Flourishing (an army medium green color). I was thinking about buying Make Up For Ever’s palette and filling it up with bright eyeshadows, but I thought about all of the bright colors the CCO has in MAC so I opt now for those. I’m not sure I can see myself wearing Clarity, but I’ll see what I can do with it. I know I will rocking Pagan and Flourishing is such a beautiful beautiful green matte2 eyeshadow. I’m in love with Flourishing.

And that’s it ya’ll. I didn’t swatch because my camera wasn’t acting right as usual and I will post prices up once I can find my receipt! I know everybody wants to know what CCO around the country are charging.
A mini Cosmetics Company Store Haul
This past Saturday I made my first ever visit to our State’s Cosmetics Company Store and it was a very nice experience. I was helped the entire time by a salesperson named Amy and she was super helpful, nice, funny and answered every questions I had. The manager (I didn’t ask for his name) was nice too. and was very pleasant. Here are my pictures of my first EVER visit to the CCO here in New Jersey!
Now I’m going to tell you what MAC products were there. There were lots of Heatherette compacts and eye shadow trios. There were also a lof of Dame Edna compacts and eyeshadow trios. I saw a lot of Tempting quads too. I didn’t see too many lipglasses. They had a lot of Ungaro compacts. They didn’t have the Style Warrior compacts, but they did thave lot of Scatterays Solar Bits. Let me tell you all about what I didn’t know. I didn’t know that there is a limit of three eyeshadows per purchase. Yikes! There were lots of eyeshadows to choose from too – they didn’t have any of the colors I had on my list but that was OK. There were also lots of MSFs to choose from as well – no naturals – lots of shimmery ones and duos. All of the Fafi dolls were there, but I got the last brown one (had to have it). There was also a Fafi shopping bag for sale too. No MAC brushes for sale except for the short travel ones and I believe those were from the Christmas collection ???. Pigments were in abundance as well. Lots of MAC stuff, just not the stuff I really wanted like the foundation in my shade and there were no concealers.
My hubby spotted a Bobbi Brown makeup case that was gorgeous, but I didn’t get it. Maybe next time. It retailed at $225, but it was stunning. The name of the outlet center I went to is called The Jersey Shore Premium Outlets located in Tinton Fall, New Jersey and it is the only NJ outlet center that has a CCO. **OT (off topic) – there is no Coach store here! What the…? I will go back to the Jersey Shore CCO, but next time I’m going to visit the CCO out in Long Island to see what they have and they are called The Tanger Outlet of Riverhead New York.
Anyway, here are my CCO pictures!

I sent my husband to look for the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel so I’m thinking he was only able to locate the lotion version of it so I went with that. I’m all out of Neutrogena Moisturizing Lotion so I thought I’d give Clinique a try. So far, so good…review coming up for it soon!

Oh, I almost forgot something! I also hit the Fragrance Discount Store at my outlet center which had a big NYX Makeup display so I mini hauled there too. I spotted the display from afar, across the courtyard actually. LOL! I bought four nail polishes and two shade sticks…one in brown and the other in black. What I forgot to add to the picture was the Ice Princess Lipgloss I also purchased – am I liking NYX lipglosses? I’ll tell you what I think about it later.

My NYX Cosmetics mini haul!
Before I end this post I just wanted to say, again, that I had a very pleasant CCO shopping experience. What I was most excited about seeing was the Heatherette Beauty Powder compacts. I really wanted one of those and didn’t want to have to go through Ebay to get one. If any of you want to know how much I spent on these items shoot me an email and I’ll get back to you.
Thanks for reading…adios!!!
