I Caved A Bought An 88 Palette

Yes, yes I know I said I’d never do it! And no, I didn’t get it from Coastal Scents because it costs too much on that site.  I got my 88 Palette on Ebay for $11.99 including shipping and it came from Hong Kong.  It took about 7 days to get here which is fast.  None of my shadows came in broken which was an A+.

The note inside was printed on an orange card basically saying that the product is good, for a great price and was shipped from China in a timely fashion so give me good feedback.  I did just that!  I am happy with my 88 palette.  Each shadow is about the size of a US currency dime, small, but very pigmented.  I couldn’t have asked for more.

The palette came with a glossy see through cover over the shadows and a couple of sheets of tissue paper on top of that.  I did have a little crack in the case, but that’s OK because I glued it back and all is well.  This palette matches the Coastal Scents palette exactly and I got it cheaper including shipping.  Sweet!

I ordered it because since Summer has rolled around I find that I’m lugging lots of makeup around on small weekend trips here and there and it’s expensive makeup I might add.  Who wants to carry all of those eyeshadows around?  This palette solves my problem.  It says I can use the shadows as blushes, but I don’t see that happening.  On vacation I just take two blushes – NARS Torrid for day and MAC Fever for night time.  I have lots of colors to work with as well so it’s like taking all of my eyeshadows with me.  I will not run the risk of damaging my higher end makeup while in transit.
