MAC Fabulous Felines Collection Haul
So here is what I got…I didn’t play with any of these products at all yet so I’m not sure if I’m going to keep everything. I’m having dreams about Estee Lauder and Chanel every night nowaday. Anyway, to my goodies!
The only two liners I wanted were Nocturnal (white) and Pure Show (Yellow Gold). Both are sparkly, swatches out out smooth and loose so it will be a dream to line with. They look like and swatch out how they look in the pictures – bright! I don’t like the price, but I really like these two so I’m keeping them. Price: $19.50 each
I picked up only one lipstick and it’s totally not in my nature to be doing things like that, but it was the only one I was interested in for Fall. Everything else was like stuff I already have and Venomous Villains is coming soon, I just couldn’t make myself waste the money on dupes. I am a lustre finish type girl, but I wanted to give a cremesheen lipstick a try this time so I went with the over hyped Kittenish and left Cunning on the counter. I am OK with one lippie for now.
In the picture, the lipstick looks lighter than it really is. It is a dark cranberry or a burgundy color that swatches out lighter than what it looks like. I saw somewhere where someone said that Kittenish is lighter than Cunning…I can’t tell because they both look the same to me and the finishes, although one is a frost and the other is a cremesheen, both swatch out almost exactly for me. I leave it be debated at another time. Here she is…Kittenish. Price: $14.50
I know I said I wouldn’t buy another lipgloss or lipglass or whatever, but lately I have been having the urge to do so. I have a lot of MAC lipglasses, but I rarely wear them because they are sheer and they come out looking the same on me. I like their Cremesheen glasses a lot, but only if they come in rosey or red type colors because those are pigments and I have one of those. MAC Dazzleglasses pre-Digi-Pops and Glimmerglasses are all amazing and I love those (especially the ones from the Style Black collection). And I just can’t get with those superglasses…more glitter than what in a regular dazzleglass? No mas! I shouldn’t be buying any lipglosses or lipglasses period because I love lipsticks more…
So I picked up two lipglasses anyway because I love pigmented MAC lipglasses and could not refuse Lap of Luxury. I just had a chance to swatch it up against a lipgloss I bought a couple of days ago called Midnight Bloom because they look similar to me at first. They are different. Lap of Luxury is a berry color with some flects pink, purple and white glitters in it, from what I can see. Midnight Bloom is a dark wine color with with black undertones which has flects of glitter in it. To totally different animals so I’m keeping both. Great color for fall.
I also picked up that blue lipglass called Best of Breed because I really like it and I think I have a few lipsticks I can put this over to make look very nice. I wasn’t feeling that blue cremesheen glass (I forget the name) from the In The Groove collection so I am so glad MAC came out with another blue, but this time a nicer blue with flects of glitter in it. I really like this one. Price: $14.50 each
Lithe…I like how it looks, but I haven’t tried it out yet. I didn’t choose Mauvement because that pigment is chunky and like chunky glitter anything so that was a fail. I will work with Lithe tomorrow and see how I do. Lithe is a cream color with shimmer in it…finely milled it looks like. I plan to use it with some colors from my Naked palette. There isn’t a shadow in the Naked palette that looks like Lithe so that’s a good thing.
Anyway, I really like this pigment a lot. If I don’t like applying it or the way it looks on me (which I doubt) I’m going to return it. Price: $19.50
And that is it for my MAC Fabulous Felines haul. I picked up two extra things I’ve been wanting so I got a MAC Club eyeshadow in pan (I couldn’t get my camera to capture it right – beautiful color) and MAC brow liner in Stud. For reference…Stud is dark brown and Spiked is a dark red-brown.
Swatches of all the above!

Best of Breed looks amazing, and I’m definitely going to get it. Don’t have anything like it, and I think it’ll be great for layering over lipsticks I have that are too warm for my skin tone. Thanks for the makeup photos – drooling over here! Haha
